We, Mechthild and Peter Laufkotter, migrated to New Zealand from Germany in 1981 and live with our three sons in the top of the South Island, in the beautiful Motueka Valley.

In the summer of 2003 we came across Himalayan Crystal Salt while holidaying in Europe. This special salt made a huge impression on us and on arrival back in New Zealand we discovered that this product was not available here in our beautiful country. So, we took the initiative to make this salt available to all health conscious New Zealanders.
